Record-Breaking West End Show Makes Birmingham Debut

A critically acclaimed West End production that has captivated over two million spectators is preparing for its first-ever appearance in Birmingham. Back To The Future The Musical will grace the stage at Birmingham Hippodrome from Tuesday, March 9, through Sunday, April 10, 2027, marking a significant milestone as it embarks on its inaugural UK tour.

Ticket Details and Priority Access

Tickets for this highly anticipated event will become available to the general public at 10am on Tuesday, March 3. However, members of the Hippodrome Friends programme will enjoy exclusive priority access starting at 10am on Monday, March 2, offering them an early opportunity to secure seats for this blockbuster show.

Production Team and Musical Highlights

The theatrical adaptation is produced by Colin Ingram in collaboration with the original film trilogy creators, Robert Zemeckis and Bob Gale. The production features original music and lyrics composed by Alan Silvestri and Glen Ballard, alongside beloved tracks from the iconic movie soundtrack, such as The Power of Love and Johnny B. Goode.

Currently performing at London's Adelphi Theatre, the musical has garnered prestigious awards including Olivier, Broadway World, and WhatsOnStage accolades. In other local theatre news, Birmingham REP has revealed plans to present a brand new production of the Christmas classic The Snowman, scheduled from October 20 to November 1, 2026. Simultaneously, The Alexandra Theatre will host the chilling production Paranormal Activity for its first Birmingham run from Tuesday, October 27, to Saturday, October 31.
