The Silver End Amateur Dramatic Society has officially announced its upcoming pantomime production of Dick Whittington, promising a purr-fect family adventure.
A Tale of Adventure and Villainy
This traditional pantomime follows the journey of Dick Whittington as he travels to London seeking fame and fortune. However, his dreams are quickly jeopardised by the scheming King Rat, who frames our hero in a dastardly plot to become the next Lord Mayor of London. Banished from the city, Dick and his loyal cat, Tommy, must embark on further adventures across the sea before justice can be served.
Performance Schedule and Booking
The society has confirmed a run of four performances at the Silver End Village Hall. The show will open on Thursday, January 15 at 7.30pm, with a second evening performance on Friday, January 16 at 7.30pm. The final day, Saturday, January 17, will feature a matinee at 2.30pm followed by an evening show at 7.30pm.
