Dockworks Waterfront Canal Food Venue Unveils Opening Line-Up in Brierley Hill

The massive new canalside food and events venue near Merry Hill has officially announced its first line-up of street food traders as it prepares to open for the very first time this weekend. Dockworks Waterfront, the latest venture from the renowned Digbeth Dining Club, is scheduled to welcome customers starting at midday on Friday, February 27.

Transformation of a Former Steelworks

This 7,000 square foot former steelworks site in Brierley Hill has undergone a comprehensive £500,000 refurbishment to transform it into a vibrant hub for exciting street food brands and regular cultural programmes. The extensive refit has reimagined the industrial space into a modern destination for food enthusiasts and event-goers alike.

Opening Weekend Street Food Line-Up

Dockworks has revealed its inaugural street food line-up with great enthusiasm, declaring "we're off with a bang." Among the standout traders confirmed for the opening weekend are Libertine Burger, Disco Fries, and Bad Boy Wings. In a recent Facebook post, Dockworks expressed excitement about the launch, stating: "Here we go! The first ever line up drop for Dockworks. We’ve been so busy with the build we almost forgot what the most important bit was… FOOD! We’re going off with a bang as we welcome some of the finest traders from the Digbeth Dining Club roster. An incredible array of some of the very best in the game. Come all. Come hungry!"

  • Saturday, February 28: 12pm to 11pm

Regional Regeneration and Future Plans

This new development follows a series of successful Digbeth Dining Club events across Dudley last year, including popular gatherings at Himley Hall and the Black Country Living Museum. The investment represents a continued commitment to regional regeneration, with further announcements about Digbeth Dining Club collaborations in the Black Country area expected in the near future.
