A plan to convert a residential property in Shirley into a care home for children has been submitted to Solihull Council. The proposal, lodged by applicant Adele Lynch, concerns a house in Radbourne Road, Shirley, and aims to provide care for up to three children.

Proposed Layout and Staffing

According to the plans, the ground floor would feature two lounges, a kitchen and dining room, a recreation or games room, and an office. The first floor would include three bedrooms for children, two staff bedrooms, and two bathrooms. The application indicates that three full-time staff members would be employed, and the property would retain its existing four parking spaces.
