Model and television personality Chrissy Teigen has revealed her two-year-old daughter, Esti, needed medical treatment following a household accident.
An Injury at Home
The toddler suffered a cut to her chin at the family's residence, requiring the attention of a specialist. Teigen shared a photograph on her Instagram Stories on Thursday, 4th December 2025, showing Esti receiving care from renowned Beverly Hills plastic surgeon, Dr. Ariel Ourian.
In the image, the young girl is seen leaning against her mother while clutching a red lollipop in her left hand. Teigen, 40, expressed her gratitude to the doctor in the caption, though admitted she was initially hesitant to post.
"Hesitant to share this because he will get too busy to give my kids their daily stitches, but @drourian, thank you so much for always saving us," she wrote. "The traumas for a kid and parent both! We love you so much."
Life with Four Children
The incident highlights the unpredictable challenges of parenting. Chrissy Teigen and her husband, singer John Legend, are parents to four children: nine-year-old Luna, seven-year-old Miles, two-year-old Wren, and Esti.
Teigen has spoken openly in the past about the particular difficulties of managing a large family. In a 2023 interview with People magazine, she explained the balancing act involved.
"For me, the hardest part is making sure the older ones feel loved and taken care of and just as special as the babies," she said. "I think any parent of multiple kids can understand that you want to make sure they still feel loved."
Family Dynamics and Bonds
More recently, Teigen has shed light on her children's individual personalities and the bonds they share. She told The Jennifer Hudson Show in 2024 that eldest daughter Luna has embraced a nurturing role.
"Luna is like the mother of us," Teigen shared. "She takes care of me when I'm sick... She brings me ice packs if I have a headache, and she loves being a nurse."
Meanwhile, the star noted that Miles and Esti share a strong connection, and that young Esti has become one of her father's biggest fans. Last September, Teigen posted a video of Esti cheering for John Legend on television, clapping and declaring, "That's my Daddy, I love my daddy," as he performed.
While this latest accident resulted in a few stitches, it seems Esti is in good hands with her caring, if occasionally chaotic, family around her.
