A man has been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after a property fire in Wolverhampton. The incident occurred on Thursday, April 16, just after 4.30pm on Westacre Crescent in the Finchfield area.
The man received advanced life support at the scene from emergency responders before being transported by air to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham for further medical care.

West Midlands Ambulance Service dispatched a significant response team to the location. Two ambulances, a paramedic officer, the Midlands Air Ambulance Critical Care Car, and a helicopter from the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity all attended the scene promptly.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed the details, stating they were called at 4.37pm to reports of a property fire. Upon arrival, they discovered one patient, a man, who required immediate advanced life support interventions.
The spokesperson emphasized that the patient was stabilized at the scene before being airlifted to the hospital, highlighting the coordinated efforts of the emergency services.
