A woman has been taken to hospital after receiving CPR at the scene of a medical incident on Bridgnorth Road in Wollaston. The incident prompted a significant emergency response on Monday morning, with eyewitnesses reporting 'police and ambulances everywhere'.

Emergency Services Respond

West Midlands Ambulance Service dispatched two ambulances, a MERIT trauma doctor with a critical care paramedic, and a Community First Responder to the scene at around 10am. Upon arrival, crews found a woman receiving CPR from police officers. Ambulance staff took over to provide advanced medical care before conveying her to Dudley's Russells Hall Hospital. Her current condition remains unknown.

A social media post described the road as being 'cordoned off' during the incident. National Express West Midlands initially reported service disruption on the number 8 bus route, stating it was diverting via Wollaston Road and High Street due to a collision. However, by 11.28am, the service had resumed its normal line of route.
