Tragic Loss in Lincolnshire Multi-Vehicle Collision

A four-year-old boy from Birmingham and a 79-year-old woman from Mablethorpe have both tragically lost their lives following a devastating multi-vehicle crash in Lincolnshire. The incident occurred on a straight section of the A157 just after Gayton le Wold, near Grimblethorpe, Louth, on Sunday, March 15, shortly before 4.30pm.

Details of the Fatal Collision

The collision involved four vehicles: a black Volvo XC60, a blue Peugeot 108, a white BMW X3, and a grey MG 1300. A fifth vehicle also sustained collateral damage but was not directly involved in the initial impact. The young boy was a passenger in the black Volvo XC60, while the elderly woman was driving the grey MG 1300.

The boy fought for his life in hospital but sadly passed away on Monday, March 23, more than a week after the crash. The woman was taken to hospital following the collision and died a day later, on March 16.
