A chaotic brawl erupted in broad daylight in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter, prompting a police investigation. The incident occurred near an HSBC bank branch at the junction of Warstone Lane and Vyse Street shortly before 3pm on Wednesday, May 13.
A witness reported that two individuals pulled a third man from a Volkswagen Golf, which sustained damage during the altercation. Describing the scene as 'mad,' the witness noted that the group was 'full-on scrapping.'
When a reporter arrived at the scene, a police officer was inspecting the interior of the car. The passenger side window of the Golf was shattered, with glass fragments scattered on the ground. A police car was stationed next to the HSBC and the iconic Chamberlain Clock in the area.
West Midlands Police confirmed that no injuries were reported. A spokesperson said: 'We were called to Warstone Lane at its junction with Vyse Street shortly before 3pm on Wednesday following reports of disorder where a car suffered criminal damage. There were no reported injuries.'
