CCTV Appeal After Birmingham Bus Driver Attack

Police have launched a public appeal for information following a serious assault on a bus driver in Birmingham.

West Midlands Police have issued a CCTV picture of a male they urgently wish to identify and speak to in connection with the incident. The force posted the image on social media, directly asking the public: "Know who this is?"

The attack occurred on the X1 bus service travelling along Coventry Road in Sheldon. Authorities have confirmed the assault took place at approximately 6.45pm on Saturday, November 9.

Driver Sustained Facial Injury

The victim, a bus driver, was assaulted during the incident and sustained a facial injury. He received treatment following the attack.

As of now, no arrests have been made in relation to the case. Police inquiries are actively continuing as officers work to trace the individual shown in the released image.
