CCTV Appeal After Burglar Assaults Two Women in Birmingham

West Midlands Police hunting a burglar who attacked two women in a Birmingham property have issued a CCTV appeal. The pair were reportedly assaulted during an aggravated burglary at an address on Alvechurch Road on 19 March at 6pm. No arrests have been made.

The force has now released images of a man they want to identify in relation to this incident. In a statement, police said: “Can you help us identify this man? An investigation is underway after two women were assaulted during an aggravated burglary at an address on Alvechurch Road, Birmingham, on 19 March at 6pm. Following CCTV enquiries, we’re now able to release images of a man we would like to speak to in relation to this incident.”

Police are urging anyone who recognises the man pictured to call 101 or use the Live Chat option on their website, quoting crime number 20/184762/26. Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. Inquiries are ongoing.
