Eyewitness Accounts and Aftermath

Eyewitness Haroon Jamil, an off-duty doctor, described hearing a "loud smash and chains rattling" before witnessing one of the ride's carriers collide with a control desk. He recounted, "I looked back and saw that one of the carriers hit into the control desk and the entire ride lost control and dropped to the ground." Jamil assisted in helping people break free from the ride immediately after the incident.

In related developments, two men, aged 21 and 55, who were arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice and obstructing officers following the crash, will face no further police action. The investigation by HSE, however, persists as authorities work to determine the cause and ensure future safety measures.
