Gunman Remains at Large Six Days After Sparkbrook Takeaway Shooting
A gunman who shot a victim on the doorstep of a Birmingham takeaway remains on the run today, nearly a full week after the violent attack occurred.
The incident took place at approximately 7:20 PM on Thursday, March 26, when a man in his 30s was shot in the doorway of C. Kay's Diner, located on Montgomery Street in the Sparkbrook area of Birmingham.
Victim Hospitalized with Serious Injuries
The victim sustained injuries to his chest and shoulder during the shooting and was rushed to a nearby hospital for emergency medical treatment. Authorities have confirmed that his injuries, while serious, are not considered life-threatening or life-changing.
West Midlands Police launched an immediate manhunt following the attack, but as of this morning, no arrests have been made in connection with the case.
