Man Arrested for Shop Theft and Threats in Birmingham

A man has been arrested in connection with a shop theft incident in Birmingham where staff members were threatened. Officers from West Midlands Police's Operation Skybridge team were patrolling in Selly Oak on Wednesday when they stopped a vehicle on Bristol Road.

Following enquiries, a 46-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of shop theft and threatening violence to staff at the store. He remains in police custody for questioning.
