Stafford Man Sentenced to Prison for Domestic Abuse Offences

A man from Stafford has been imprisoned for more than 18 months after attacking his ex-partner and sending her threatening emails. Kieran Hemming, aged 41, carried out a violent assault in June 2024, which included strangling the victim following an argument inside a property.

Series of Abusive Incidents Leads to Charges

Following the initial attack, Hemming sent a number of threatening emails to the survivor. Then, in September 2024, he turned up at her address, demanding to speak to her. He forced his way inside, pushed her to the floor, and then left the premises.

Staffordshire Police became aware of the abuse and officers worked tirelessly to support the victim and bring charges against Hemming. As a result, he later pleaded guilty to multiple offences at Stafford Crown Court.
