A nine-year-old schoolgirl has tragically died from serious injuries after a two-car crash in Birmingham, with two men arrested in connection with the incident. The collision occurred on Icknield Street in Hockley, near the city centre, at approximately 11pm on Thursday, April 2, 2026.
Details of the Incident
West Midlands Police reported that the child, who was a passenger in one of the vehicles involved, was taken to hospital with serious injuries but sadly passed away a short time later. A woman and two other children from the same car were also transported to hospital for assessment of their injuries.
