Solihull Crash: Rider Hospitalised with Life-Changing Injuries

A motorcyclist has been hospitalised with life-changing leg injuries following a collision with a car in Solihull. The incident occurred on Cooks Lane in Kingshurst at approximately 1:20pm on July 4. The rider was treated at the scene by ambulance crews before being taken to hospital, while the driver of the car remained and is assisting with enquiries.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

West Midlands Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage to come forward. A police spokesperson said: "We’re appealing for witnesses to a collision involving a motorbike and a car in Solihull yesterday afternoon (July 4). Officers attended at the junction of Cooks Lane, Kingshurst, just after 1.20pm and found the rider being treated by ambulance crew. He was taken to the hospital with leg injuries, which are understood to be life-changing."

Investigators are reviewing CCTV and speaking with witnesses. They are particularly keen to hear from anyone with dashcam footage from around the time of the crash.
