Supermarket Robbery: Police Hunt Man in Orange Overalls

West Midlands Police have launched an appeal to identify a man wearing distinctive orange high-visibility overalls following a robbery at a supermarket in Birmingham. The incident occurred on Friday, April 17, at a store on Warwick Road in the Acocks Green area, with a B27 postcode.

At approximately 9:45 PM, the suspect threatened to punch a staff member and threw shopping baskets at employees while clearing items from the shelves. Officers have released two images of a white, clean-shaven man they wish to speak to in connection with the robbery. He was seen wearing bright orange work overalls, a white or beige beanie hat, and a grey hoodie underneath.

Police Appeal for Information

In a statement, West Midlands Police said: "Do you know this man? We want to speak to him after items were taken from the shelves in a supermarket on Warwick Road, Birmingham. During the robbery at around 9:45pm on Friday, April 17, the offender threatened to punch shop staff and threw shopping baskets at them."
