Two teenagers have been arrested following reports of gunshots being fired at people in Solihull, in what police have described as a 'frightening and distressing' incident.

West Midlands Police received multiple reports of shots, believed to have been fired from a pellet gun, targeting individuals in the Solihull area. Fortunately, no serious injuries were sustained, but authorities acknowledged the traumatic impact on those involved.
Arrests Made
Officers swiftly identified a vehicle linked to the offences, leading to the arrest of two teenage boys on Wednesday, May 6. The suspects, aged 16 and 18, were taken into custody for questioning. They have since been released on bail with strict conditions as investigations continue.
A police spokesperson stated: 'We arrested two teenagers following several reports that shots from a suspected pellet gun had been fired at people in the Solihull area. Fortunately, no-one sustained any serious injuries, but we understand this was a distressing and frightening experience for all.'
