Emergency Services Rush to Bearwood Pub Stabbing
Emergency services descended on a street in the Bearwood area of Sandwell last night following a reported stabbing at a local pub. Police and paramedics rushed to the scene on Abbey Road at around 8.40pm on Friday, November 29.
Blue lights from multiple emergency vehicles illuminated the residential street as officers and medical teams attended to the incident. The disturbance occurred at The Abbey pub, a well-known local establishment.
Three Men Arrested Following the Attack
West Midlands Police have confirmed that three men were arrested on suspicion of wounding in connection with the attack. The individuals, aged 30, 24, and 19, remain in police custody and are due to be questioned by detectives.
The victim, a man believed to be in his 20s, sustained a stab wound to his leg during the altercation. He was promptly treated at the scene by paramedics before being transported to a nearby hospital.
Victim in Stable Condition as Enquiries Continue
According to a statement from West Midlands Police, the victim is currently in a stable condition in hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Police have confirmed that their investigation is ongoing. A spokesperson for the force urged anyone with information to come forward, stating: "Enquiries continue and anyone with information has been asked to get in touch, quoting log 4189 of 29 November."
