Tributes have been paid to a 25-year-old man who was killed in a drive-by shooting at a barbecue in south London. Keanu Taylor died after shots were fired from a car in the early hours of Saturday, May 2.
Three other individuals, aged 21, 47, and 70, were also injured in the attack. However, their wounds were not life-threatening or life-changing, according to police. Emergency services arrived at the scene within minutes of the shooting, but Mr Taylor could not be saved and later died in hospital from his injuries.
Family's Heartbreaking Tribute
The shooting took place in Coldharbour Lane, Brixton, the Metropolitan Police confirmed. Mr Taylor's family has now spoken out, expressing their profound grief. In a statement released through the Met Police, his family said: "Keanu was a loving son, brother, uncle, nephew, grandson and friend. He was loved by everyone and his smile would light up a room. Keanu had the world at his feet, and he’s left a huge hole in our family, our hearts are absolutely broken."
