Floral tributes have been left outside a Birmingham railway station in memory of an 'amazing' man who died on the tracks. The victim, named locally as Daniel, was pronounced dead at Northfield railway station at around 8.50pm on Sunday, May 3.

His family were informed, and his death is not being treated as suspicious. An array of flowers with touching messages were placed outside the station following the tragedy.

One note read: 'Dear Dan, you were genuinely one of the nicest, funniest people. You were loved by so many.' Another message said: 'You always were an amazing person. The funniest geezer I've ever met. Thank you so much for all the great memories.'
