Two Men Stabbed at UK Retail Park in Attempted Murder

Two men were rushed to hospital after a knife attack at a retail park in Stirling, Scotland, in an incident police are treating as attempted murder. Emergency services were called to Burghmuir Retail Park off Burghmuir Road at approximately 7:15 pm on Saturday, May 9, following reports of a stabbing outside a shop.

The victims, aged 38 and 46, suffered serious stab wounds and were taken to Glasgow's Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment. Their injuries are described as serious but not believed to be life-threatening.

Police Investigation Underway

Detective Chief Inspector Scott Roxburgh confirmed that detectives are treating the incident as attempted murder. He said: 'Our inquiries to establish what happened are ongoing, and I would urge anyone who may have information which may help to get in touch. As well as the location at the retail park, we are also carrying out inquiries at nearby Colquhoun Street.'

He added: 'I would ask anyone who witnessed any disturbance in these areas on Saturday evening, or who may have dashcam or private CCTV footage, to get in touch.'

Separate Murder Investigation in Moss Side

This incident comes after grieving friends identified the victim of a murder investigation in Moss Side as Dre Brown. Officers were called to Raby Street at around 11 pm on Friday, May 8, following reports of a stabbing. A man in his 30s was taken to hospital, where he sadly died.

Friends have named the man as Dre Brown, with his full first name believed to be Adrian. Mr Brown was a musician who performed under the stage name StanaMan and is thought to have left behind three children.

An outpouring of tributes has flooded social media. One friend wrote: 'RIP, Dre. You will be sadly missed. Gone far too soon. You were such a kind soul and amazing father.' Another person described him as a 'good kid'. A friend posted: 'Rest in peace, Dre.'

Greater Manchester Police confirmed that an 18-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident. He was being interrogated by detectives on Saturday after being taken into custody on suspicion of murder.
