A 14-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm following a double stabbing at an Essex holiday park. Police were called to St Osyth Holiday Park on Beach Road, St Osyth, shortly after midnight on Monday, 4 May, after reports of a disturbance.
Two individuals suffered stab wounds during the incident, police confirmed, with one victim requiring hospital treatment. Their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing.
The teenage boy remains in custody following his arrest on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm. A 36-year-old man has additionally been detained on suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker and also remains in custody, reports the Mirror.
Investigators are now urging any witnesses to come forward. An Essex Police spokesman said: "Today detectives are continuing to investigate the incident and would like to hear from anyone who has not yet spoken to us who may be a witness."
