Police are urgently appealing for the public's help to locate a missing teenage girl from Birmingham. Jayda, aged 14, has been reported missing, and officers are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare.

West Midlands Police confirmed that Jayda was last seen on Wednesday morning, and they have launched a widespread search operation. The teenager is described as black, with black hair, and approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a black jacket, a dark blue Nike hoodie, light blue ripped jeans, and trainers.

In a statement, a police spokesperson said: "Have you seen Jayda? The 14-year-old has gone missing from Birmingham and we're concerned for her welfare. Jayda is around 5ft 4ins tall and when she was last seen was wearing light blue ripped jeans, a dark indigo Nike hoodie and black jacket with black and white trainers."

Authorities are urging anyone who spots Jayda or has any information about her whereabouts to call 999 immediately, quoting log number 1379 of 13 May. Police stress that immediate action is required to ensure her safe return.
