A man in his 20s has died after being stabbed in a car park in Wolverhampton city centre in the early hours of Sunday, July 5. Police have arrested three individuals, including a 32-year-old man on suspicion of murder.
Incident Details
Emergency services were called to Clarence Street at around 3am following reports of a man with a chest injury. Paramedics treated the victim at the scene, but he was pronounced dead shortly after.
West Midlands Police confirmed that a 32-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder. Additionally, a 66-year-old man and a 59-year-old woman have been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
Police Investigation
A police spokesperson stated: "We've arrested three people after a man was found fatally stabbed in Wolverhampton, in the early hours of today. Officers were alerted at 3am to a man with an injury to his chest in a car park in Clarence Street. The man in his 20s was treated by paramedics and he was sadly pronounced dead at the scene."
Forensic teams have been examining the scene, and door-to-door inquiries are ongoing. CCTV footage from the area is being retrieved and reviewed.

The spokesperson added: "Investigations remain on-going to establish exactly who is responsible with forensics experts examining the scene as door-to-door enquiries continue. Anyone with information regarding the incident has been asked to get in touch with the force."
