Cost and Benefits of the Railcard
The Disabled Persons Railcard offers a one-third discount on rail tickets, making it a valuable tool for reducing travel expenses. It is available for £20 for a one-year card or £54 for a three-year card, providing long-term savings for eligible individuals. This change is part of broader efforts to enhance accessibility and affordability in public transport for people with disabilities.
This expansion is expected to positively impact thousands of lives by making rail travel more accessible and economical. It aligns with ongoing initiatives to support individuals with disabilities in their daily mobility and financial management.
