A man in a state of distress caused significant disruption this morning by climbing to the top of a high-voltage electricity pylon in Brighouse. Horrified local residents reported seeing the man ascend the pylon, which carries critical power cables, prompting immediate concern for his safety. West Yorkshire Police were alerted and subsequently called the Yorkshire Ambulance Service at 9:23 am.
