Woman Seriously Injured in Two-Car Crash at Studley Junction
A woman has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries following a two-car collision in the Midland village of Studley, Warwickshire. The incident occurred at approximately 3:18pm on Tuesday, March 3, at the junction of Green Lane and the A448.
Emergency Response and Trauma Care
The woman, who was driving one of the vehicles involved, received immediate trauma care at the scene. An off-duty paramedic initially provided aid until the arrival of emergency services. West Midlands Ambulance Service deployed an ambulance, a paramedic officer, and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham to the location.
The ambulance service spokesperson confirmed: "The driver of a car, a woman, sustained serious injuries and received trauma care by WMAS before being conveyed by land ambulance to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham for further specialist care."
Hospital Transport and Incident Details
The injured woman was transported under blue lights to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham for advanced medical treatment. Authorities have stated that no other individuals were injured in the collision, with the incident remaining under investigation by local emergency responders.
