Two pensioners have died following a tragic road traffic collision in Shropshire in the days after Christmas.
Details of the Fatal Collision
A man and a woman, both aged in their 70s, were pronounced dead at the scene after their silver Volvo XC60 was involved in a crash. The incident occurred on Saturday, December 27, at approximately 3.30pm.
The collision took place at the junction of Park View and the A4169 in the Buildwas area, near Much Wenlock, on the B4380 road.

West Mercia Police have now launched a public appeal for information to help their investigation into the double tragedy. Sergeant Nathan Johnson expressed the force's condolences, stating their thoughts were with the loved ones of the deceased, who are being supported by specialist officers.
In his appeal, Sgt Johnson said: “We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision and from drivers who may have dashcam footage from around the time it happened.”
