Justice Served After 24-Year-Old Man Shot Dead in Wolverhampton Street

A 24-year-old man tragically lost his life when a firearm was used with absolute recklessness on a residential street in Wolverhampton. Neo Graham was shot dead on Eastfield Road just after 3:20 pm on February 4 last year, despite the immediate efforts of police officers and paramedics who responded to the scene.

Details of the Fatal Incident

Six shots were fired from a red Renault Clio during the attack. A second man who was with Neo at the time was also injured, suffering gunshot wounds to his arm and foot. He managed to run and hide nearby to escape further harm. A third individual accompanying them escaped uninjured.

The vehicle used in the shooting was later dumped and set alight, but police successfully seized it within two hours of the incident.

Police Statement on the Case

Senior investigating officer Jenny Birch from West Midlands Police's homicide team commented on the case, stating: "The death of this young man saw a gun being used with absolute recklessness and our thoughts remain with those who loved him and with those affected by what happened."

She added: "We have worked tirelessly to ensure those responsible were arrested within a matter of days and held in custody ever since. They worked together to carry out this killing and showed absolutely no regard for the dangers of firing shots in a residential area. But justice has now been served and that firearm is off our streets."

The convictions mark a significant step in addressing violent crime and drug-related offences in the Wolverhampton area, providing some closure to the community affected by this tragic event.
