A teenager has been charged with firearms offences after a weapon was discovered at a property in Wolverhampton earlier this year.
Arrest and Charges Following February Discovery
Callum McTaggart-Box, aged 18, was arrested on Thursday, 4 December 2025, in connection with the find. The firearm was initially seized by officers from an address on Dickens Road, Wolverhampton, on 14 February. Following his arrest, McTaggart-Box was charged with possession of a firearm and possession of ammunition.
Court Appearance and Police Operation
The accused was remanded in custody and was scheduled to appear before Wolverhampton Magistrates' Court on Friday, 5 December. The arrest was conducted by the West Midlands Police Wolverhampton Gangs team.
In a statement, West Midlands Police linked the action to Operation Target, their ongoing initiative against serious and organised crime. The operation involves officers using local intelligence, executing warrants, seizing goods, and targeting offenders.
