Motorcyclist Dies in Nuneaton Collision, Police Seek Witnesses
A motorcyclist has tragically died following a collision with a car on Kingswood Road in Nuneaton, as police issue an urgent appeal for witnesses and dashcam footage.
Details of the Fatal Incident
The collision occurred on Kingswood Road, near an Aldi store, at approximately 11:50 AM on Sunday, April 19. The incident involved a blue off-road style motorcycle and a black Ford Fiesta. Warwickshire Police have confirmed the motorcyclist, a man, was pronounced dead at the scene despite resuscitation efforts by emergency services.
West Midlands Ambulance Service responded with two ambulances, a paramedic officer, and a Midlands Air Ambulance. Bystanders and police were administering basic life support when ambulance staff arrived, but advanced life support efforts were unsuccessful. The driver of the car, also a man, was taken to George Eliot Hospital with injuries not believed to be serious.

Warwickshire Police are actively investigating the circumstances leading to this tragic event. Inspector Michael Huntley from the Serious Collision Unit emphasized the need for public assistance, stating, "We would very much like to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time, particularly if they have any relevant video or dashcam footage."
In addition to witness accounts, police are seeking information on the movements of the blue motorcycle prior to the crash. They are also looking to contact the rider of an orange or red off-road style motorbike with a large white number 22 on the front and sides, believed to have been travelling in convoy with the blue bike.
