Family Pays Tribute to 'Gentle Soul' Lakhbir Bangha After Fatal Burton-on-Trent Crash
The devastated family of a man who tragically lost his life in a single-vehicle collision have paid a moving tribute to a 'gentle soul' whose absence will leave an irreplaceable void. Lakhbir Bangha, aged 41 and from West Bromwich, was struck by a van on Doveridge Road in Stapenhill, Burton-on-Trent, at approximately 1pm on Friday, April 17.
Pronounced Dead at the Scene
Emergency services, including paramedics, attended the incident but sadly pronounced Mr. Bangha dead at the location. Staffordshire Police have confirmed that the collision involved a van, with the driver, who was a pedestrian and out of the vehicle at the time. They described him as a 'bubbly, friendly and gentle soul' who consistently went out of his way to make people laugh, whether through his silly jokes or spontaneous dances.
His family stated: 'His presence will be deeply missed by his sisters, brothers, mom, dad, uncle, aunties and his wider family. Our lives will never be the same without you. We love you, Lakhy.'
