An arson investigation has been launched following a fire in Freer Street, Walsall, which broke out in the early hours of Thursday, April 23. West Midlands Police confirmed that no injuries have been reported.
Firefighters Called to Scene
The blaze started at around 4am, prompting firefighters to attend the scene. Part of the road was cordoned off as emergency services dealt with the incident.
Police Statement
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: "We are investigating a suspected arson at a property in Freer Street, Walsall, in the early hours of today. Officers attended after being alerted by fire crews just after 4.15am. Thankfully, no one has reported any injuries to us, and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances."
